Data Validation
Mandatory Fields
Important, required fields can be marked as mandatory and will be flagged if not entered. This validation is critical to ensure all important data is captured. Fields such as deceased name, gender and residence address are examples of usual mandatory fields.
Text Validation
Almost every field can have rules applied to it to ensure the data entered is in an acceptable format. Rule enforcing address suffixes, phone number lengths and capitalization are some examples.

Date Validation
Checks are run comparing dates to ensure accidental mistakes are picked up and to ensure all important dates fall within acceptable bounds. An example is checking if the service date isn't before the death date.
Contacts Validation
When a contact is entered that isn't in the Address List, you are prompted with close matches from which you can select. This prevents multiple variants of the same contact.
Locations Validation
Similar to Contacts Validation, Locations Validation checks if a location is entered that isn't in the Location List, you are prompted with close matches from which you can select. This prevents multiple variants of the same location.
